Chassis:
The only DB4 GT Zagato finished in this dark red colour, known as Peony, this chassis was delivered new to Teddy Beck of Cheshire, England. He greatly appreciated the DB4 GT but only covered 15,000 miles during his nearly two decades of ownership. He eventually sold the car in 1979 and it was then briefly owned by the likes of Victor Gauntlett and Paul Vestey before joining the stable of a Belgian enthusiast in 1985. While preserving the car's remarkable original condition, he would regularly campaign the car and added a further 30,000 miles to its tally. Along with the rest of his stable, chassis 0176/R was consigned to the single collection, April 2020 Passion of a Lifetime auction held by Gooding in London.
