Chassis:
The third and final Tyrrell 010 built, this was the most successful of the bunch. First used during the 1980 Monaco Grand Prix, it would go on to record two points finishes with Jarier in 1980 and three with Cheever the following year. During this period, it did have to be rebuilt twice due to structural issues. The car's final competitive outing came at the 1981 Austrian Grand Prix where Michele Alboreto failed to finish. Retained by Tyrrell, it was displayed for many years in the Donington Grand Prix Collection museum. In 1998, it was acquired, along with the rest of the historic Tyrrell collection, by Paul Stoddart. A few years later, the car passed into the hands of a German historic racer, who had it completely restored. It has since changed hands twice more and is now in the possession of a Belgian historic racer. He used the car to great effect in the 2015 FIA Masters Historic Formula One championship, where he placed second despite missing one round. He started off the 2016 season with back to back wins during the opening round at Zolder.
