Originally fitted with a 3-Louvre style body, this Tour de France was originally owned by Giuliano Giovanardi from Modena. He campaigned the car for the better part of two seasons in local hill-climbs with considerable success. At some point, the body was modified and updated to the later 1-Louvre style. Giovanardi sold the car in 1976 to the current Italian custodian. He has regularly raced the car in historic events ever since.
