Noted French privateer racer Pierre Noblet acquired this car to replace an earlier 250 GT. To avoid paying import duties, he had the original chassis number 0805GT changed to his earlier number 0619GT. Noblet campaigned the car with some success well into the 1960 season. Later in the decade, it was crashed into the Peugeot factory. The remains were sold to the United States, where it was restored by NART mechanic Wayne Sparling. Sparling sold the car on to a fellow Florida-based enthusiast. In more recent years, it was entered by Sparling in the Cavallino Classic twice.
