Chassis:
Finally completed in August of 1976, the very first DN8 debuted with a fourth place finish at the Dutch Grand Prix in the hands of Tom Pryce. He raced the car four more times that year but failed to score anymore points. After two more outings in the hands of Pryce early in the 1977 season, it was raced by Zorzi, Oliver and Patrese with little success. Retired from contemporary racing at the end of 1977, it has since been restored to its 1976 configuration and livery. Owned by an American historic racer, it is regularly competed in historic events.
