Chassis:
The second DN8 built, chassis 2A debuted at the tragic South African Grand Prix, where Tom Pryce fatally crashed. He could not avoid a marshall crossing the track, and was subsequently hit on the head by the marshall's fire extinguisher, which killed him instantly and sent the car into the barrier. The extensively damaged car was not raced again. In more recent years, a reconstruction has surfaced and has been regularly raced in historic events.
