Chassis:
The first of seven Esperante GTR-1s built, this was the only road-legal example constructed to meet the homologation requirements. It was finished with a fully upholstered interior. Retained by Panoz, it was displayed at the company's museum in Braselton, Georgia for many years. In 2015, it was comprehensively restored and revealed at that year's Dubai Motor Show. Panoz underlined that the car was still not for sale but that new road cars could be built to order, using the original body and chassis moulds, with prices starting at $890,000.
