Chassis:
The penultimate Trans-Am specification Audi 200 produced, this car served as the #14 entry for most of the 1988 season. It was driven by a succession of by both Walter Röhrl and Hans-Joachim Stuck. The former won a single round, while Stuck added four more victories to this car's tally. Sold to South Africa at the end of the season, the car's contemporary racing career lasted for many more seasons. It was eventually updated with revised body-work and revised engine, and re-named S4 GTO. In this guise, it was raced until 1998. In 2000, it was acquired by American enthusiast Steve Zlotkin. He initially campaigned the car in historic events in S4 GTO guise before completely restoring it to its original, Trans-Am configuration. Zlotkin raced the car in its original configuration until his untimely passing in November of 2015.
