Chassis:
One of the Matra MS5s run by Ken Tyrrell, this car was most likely built to F2 specification and was originally raced by Jackie Stewart. For 1967, it was upgraded with a 1.6-litre engine to meet the new F2 regulations. In this guise, it was raced by Jacky Ickx in the 1967 German Grand Prix, where the young Belgian racer failed to finish due to suspension failure. Restored to its 1967 guise, it is today owned by a prominent French Matra collector. It was brought out in 2014 to honour Jackie Stewart during the Goodwood Revival.
