Chassis:
Most likely not raced in period, this car was constructed as a show car (hence the chassis number) for Polifac, who were a major backer of the works March/BMW team. Retained by BMW, it is today part of the BMW Museum collection. In 2015, it was restored to full running order by British specialists Cars International. It has since been demonstrated at the 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed and the Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort by the likes of Johnny Cecotto, Marc Surer and Jan Lammers.
