Chassis:
First used at the 1971 Dutch Grand Prix, this is the second of two M19As built. It was raced during the remainder of the 1971 Formula 1 World Championship by Denis Hulme with a fourth at the Canadian Grand Prix as the best result. Hulme also campaigned the car in the first two Grands Prix of 1972, finishing second in Argentina and winning in South Africa. Later in the year, it was raced by Peter Revson and Brian Redman, who managed to finish fifth on three occasions (Revson twice and Redman once). Following an accident at the 1972 French Grand Prix, it was retired from contemporary use. It was sold off and eventually re-appeared in historic racing. Now part of the ROFGO Collection, it was raced to a victory in the 2022 Monaco Historic Grand Prix by Stuart Hall.
