Chassis:
Initially raced by Klaus Walz at Mainz and Monza, this car was entered for Le Mans in 1976 as a works car with Warsteiner backing. The all-French driver line-up failed to qualify and the disappointed crew had already started to take apart the car before the race began. A late withdrawal from a DeTomaso Pantera freed up a spot for the TOJ but there was simply not enough time for the mechanics to put the engine back into the car before the start of the race. Walz continued to race this SC204 into the following season, finishing second overall at Hockenheim early in 1977. Among the subsequent owners was Nick Snoek, who had the car restored to full running order by Zul Racing. During the 2000s and early 2010s, it changed hands several times and the car is now in Belgian hands.
