Chassis:
Completed early in 1989, this 962C was delivered new to Jochen Dauer. Finished in particularly striking Tic Tac colours, it was raced by Dauer himself during the 1989 season. He finished second both in an Interserie and Supercup event but ultimately did not win a race. With BF Goodrich backing, it was entered in the 1990 Daytona 24 Hours for Raul Boesel, Al Unser Jr. and Bobby Unser. They started seventh yet failed to reach the finish with an engine problem. For the Sebring 12 Hours, it was shared by Boesel and Hans-Joachim Stuck but again the finish was not reached. Following four American outings, chassis 962-141 was returned to Europe. Here it was raced in select World Sports Car events again in Tic Tac colours by the likes of Derek Bell and Henri Pescarolo. Preserved in its Tic Tac colours, it is today owned by a Danish Historic Racer, who regularly campaigns the car in the Group C Championship.
