Chassis:
Entered for Ronnie Peterson, this 711 was ready just in time for the 1971 Race of Champions at Brands Hatch. He retired from the race and for the remainder of the season, the car was entered by Frank Williams for Henri Pescarolo. A fourth at the British Grand Prix was the Frenchman's best result with 711-3. For the 1972 season, the car was entrusted to Carlos Pace, who struggled during most of the year but did manage a point scoring finish at the Belgian Grand Prix. Frank Williams would retain the car until the late 1970s. It has since been restored to full running order and has been extensively raced in historic events by its successive owners.
