Chassis:
Following the successful outing at the 1977 Spa 24 Hours, the Dealer Team Vauxhall Firenza Magnum was sold to Alan Forster's London Sportscar Company / Chequered Flag. During the 1978 season, it was raced by the likes of Win Percy, Barrie Williams, Tony Lanfranchi and also by Foster himself. Following its retirement from contemporary racing, the 'Spa Magnum' re-appeared at the 2005 Autosport auction after having spent at least 15 years in a barn. Since then, it has been comprehensively rebuilt over a 55-week period with a total of 363 man-hours spent. Once the work was completed, the DTV Firenza Magnum returned to the track for historic races and also demonstrations at events like the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
