Chassis:
The fourth and final DBR4 built, this car served as a spare throughout Aston Martin's Formula 1 efforts. Ultimately not raced by the works team, it was sold on to Australian Lex Davison. He raced the car very successful in his native Australia and New Zeeland. In 1968, it was acquired by historic racer and collector Neil Corner, who repatriated the car and raced it with great success in historic events. Among the subsequent owners were Murray Smith, Alain de Cadenet, Peter Livanos and Tony Smith. The latter sold the car to Belgian historic racer Hubert Fabri, campaigned the car through the 2000s and early 2010s. In 2014, it was acquired by the current, Belgian custodian, who has continued to race the car.
