Chassis:
Originally delivered to Henry Birkin as a naturally aspirated 4½-Litre Bentley, this is the second example to be fitted with a supercharger. It was raced extensively by Birkin and other famous drivers with appearances at Le Mans and Brooklands but ultimately no major victories were scored. A subsequent owner left the car in a field, exposed to the elements but fortunately it was discovered in time and saved. During the 1950s, it was meticulously restored and since then it has been beautifully preserved. Owned by Bentley Motors ltd., this, the second ever Blower Bentley is shown regularly at events on both sides of the Atlantic.
