Entered by Jackie Epstein for Paul Hawkins, this T70 debuted with a fifth place finish in the August 1966 Guards Trophy at Brands Hatch. It was then shipped to North America to compete in the inaugural Canadian-American Challenge Cup (Can-Am). Its first outing was not a success as Hawkins flipped the car during the practice at St. Jovite. Both car and driver escaped remarkably unscathed and were rather to line up for the next round where Hawkins finished 15th. Raced through to the end of the 1966, its best placing was a 3rd for Hawkins at Kent. Retired from contemporary racing, it was sold to Australia where it was eventually converted for road use and fitted with a McLaren M12 style body. Repatriated to the United Kingdom in the early 2010s, it has since been restored to its original configuration.
