Chassis:
Chassis 02 was the first Maki shipped to Europe and shown at the launch of the team at the Carlton Tower Hotel in London. It was then raced by Howden Ganley during at several events during the 1974 season. Ganley had his career-ending accident in the car during practice for the German Grand Prix at the Nürburgring. The was rebuilt around a spare tub and all the salvageable parts, including the chassis tag were carried over. It was not raced again that year due to a luck of funding. Updated to F101C specification, it was then raced by Tony Trimmer and Hiroshi Fushida. Following its contemporary racing career, it was raced in historic events by Jan Lammers and also demonstrated by Fushida. From the mid-1990s, the only surviving Make F101 with competition history was displayed for 20 years in the Stavelot museum. Ahead of the 2016 season, it was completely rebuilt to full running order for its new Belgian owner.
