Chassis:
One of three Lotus 30s sold to the United States in 1964, this car was delivered to first owner Jerry Crawford through New York based distributor Duchess Auto. Together with Shelby Walker, Crawford debuted the car in the 1965 Daytona 2000 km and later in the year also competed in national and regional events on the East Coast. He ended the year with a commendable fourth overall and second in class at the Daytona season finale race. At the end of 1965, it was sold to Canada, where it remained until it was discovered during the 1990s. It was then meticulously restored and prepared by Simon Hadfield. Since then it has been regularly raced at events throughout Europe, including at several editions of the Goodwood Revival Whitsun Trophy.
