This was the 400 Superamerica Pininfarina Cabriolet shown at the 1960 Brussels Salon where the new Grand Tourer was officially introduced. Chassis 1611SA would be the first of a total of six Cabriolets built by Pininfarina on the short chassis. It was shown later in the year in New York and sold shortly after to its first owner. At some point the car was repainted red and subsequently only changed very few times before being acquired by the current custodian in 1998. He had the car restored to its original and somewhat unusual green finish. In this condition, it is shown here at the 2005 New York City Concours d'Elegance.
