Chassis:
One of the Hertz 'rent-a-racers', this example was fitted with the rare combination of a four-speed gearbox and Paxton supercharger. Only the first 80 Hertz cars had the manual gearbox, while even fewer boasted the supercharger. Among its later owners was noted English collector Sir Anthony Bamford, who had the car completely restored. In more recent years, it has returned to the United States. Still in pristine condition, it was shown at the 2015 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance where the 50th anniversary of the Shelby Mustang was celebrated.
