Chassis:
The fifth GTE V8 Vantage built, chassis 005's first victory came at the Austin round of the 2013 FIA WEC where Frederic Makowiecki and Bruno Senna won the GTE-Pro class. Virtually continuously raced during the next season by Aston Martin Racing, it then won the GTE-Pro class in the 2015 Spa 6 Hours and 2016 Mexico City 6 Hours. The crowning achievement of the car's long career came at Le Mans in 2017 when Darren Turner, Jonny Adam and Daniel Serra scored a GTE-Pro class victory after a brave last-lap pass by Adam. It was eventually acquired by a prominent French collector.
