Chassis:
Chassis 944 was one of the Lotus 24s delivered new to the UDT-Laystall Racing team. In 1962 it was driven to victory in the Swedish Grand Prix and to a second in the Danish Grand Prix. A year later Innes Ireland added a win in the Glover Trophy at Goodwood to his tally. Jim Hall, of Chaparral fame, also raced '944' in 1963. Beautifully restored, it has recently been raced at many of the major meetings including the Monaco Historic Grand Prix and Goodwood Revival.
