Chassis:
One of two Open Tourers built by Hooper on the 4¼ chassis, this car was commissioned by R.L. Jump. He retained the car for just a few months and with just 1,200 miles on the odometer, it was sold on to the Harvey family before the end of the year. They would own the car through to 1956 by which time, it had covered a further 50,000 miles. Following two more British owners, it was acquired by an American enthusiast visiting London in August of 1965. During his ownership, it was repainted from the original black to an ivory white in 1987 and then received a comprehensive mechanical service between 2008 and 2009. With 85,000 original miles, it was then offered by Fantasy Junction in 2010. Chassis B-7-JY has since been acquired by a German enthusiast, who had it repainted once more. It has, however, never been completely restored.
