Chassis:
One of the factory built competition Porsche 924 Carrera GTRs, this example was not actually raced in period. Instead, it was sold to the fabulous Matsuda Collection in Japan. Rarely seen in public, it has remained in Japanese ownership for over three decades. Chassis '009' has recently been repatriated to Europe and carefully prepared for historic racing. The current livery is identical to that of the works car that won its class at Le Mans in 1981. Its first competition outing came at the 2016 Grand Prix de l'Age d'Or but unfortunately, teething issues with the suspension meant the car only ran in the opening practice. It was since returned to its original all-white colours by its next, German owner.
