Chassis:
Chassis 'BHL 123' was the second Costin bodied Lister built. Fitted with a 3-litre Jaguar XK engine, it was supplied new to the Momo Corporation/Briggs Cunningham. Liveried in the familiar Cunningham colours, the Lister Jaguar was entered in the 1959 Sebring 12 Hours for Ivor Bueb and Stirling Moss alongside a 'Knobbly' Lister Jaguar. After placing the white and blue Lister 2nd on the grid, the two British drivers were disqualified due to illegal refueling during the race. Momo subsequently fielded the car for Walt Hansgen in the SCCA C-Modified National Championship, which he duly won.
The successful Lister Jaguar was sold on at the end of the year. Subsequent owners continued to race the car but with no results of note. At one point it was restored by marque-expert Gary Pearson for a German owner. Eventually the car returned to the United States were it was extensively raced in vintage events. After a long-term ownership, it was sold during Gooding & Company's 2010 Scottsdale Auction for $1.1 million; a new world record for a Lister. It continued to be raced by the subsequent two owners, until it was restored once more. Many of the original features were added again like the glass dome on the engine cover and the small winglets on the roll-over bar.
Following the restoration, the car was shown at the 2015 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance where it placed third in class. Late in 2018, it was announced as one of the early consignments for the 2019 Bonhams Scottsdale auction.
