Chassis:
A new car for the 2008 season, this F430 was sold to BMS Scuderia Italia for that year's FIA GT Championship. With backing from Pirelli, it was raced by Joel Camathias and Jose Balbiani in the regular season events. For the Spa 24 Hours, Camathias was joined by Matteo Malucelli, Paolo Ruberti and Davide Rigon and they finished fifth overall and first in the GT2 class. The three Italians were also entrusted the car for the 24 Hours of Le Mans where they finished 22nd overall and second in class. Malucelli and Ruberti raced the car at again in the 2009 FIA GT Championship. For Le Mans that year they were joined once more by Babini with a 19th overall and another second in class as the result. At the end of the season, the car was retired from contemporary racing and rebuilt by BMS Scuderia Italia to as new condition for the owner, who was one of the team's backers.
