Chassis:
Completed in the summer of 1971, this 312 B2 debuted in the hands of Mario Andretti with a fourth place finish in the German Grand Prix. It was raced by Andretti just once more and then shared by Clay Regazzoni, Nanni Galli and Arturo Merzario through to the end of the 1972 season. The best result was a second place finish for Regazzoni in the 1972 German Grand Prix. Following its contemporary racing career, it was eventually sold to noted Ferrari collector Pierre Bardinon. From his collection, it was acquired by Jacques Setton for his formidable collection of competition cars. In more recent years, it joined an Italian collection and was seen in public for the first time in many years.
