Chassis:
Of the already very rare Vantage versions of the DB5 only around 25 were built with left-hand drive for export use. Following its completion in the summer of 1965, chassis 2211 was shipped to a Paris dealer before travelling on to the United States. Here it was acquired by Jean Denoyer, who commissioned a comprehensive restoration of the rare Aston Martin in the early 2000s. In 2002, shortly after the work was completed the car was sold to its next, longterm custodian. Reaping the benefits of the fresh restoration, it was extensively shown and driven at events all around the United States.
