Chassis:
Acquired new early in 1970 by Worcestershire Racing Association, this B16 was entered in that year's European Championship for John Burton. He regularly finished in the top five and in Finland scored a victory, beating Willy Kauhsen in a Porsche 907. During the 1971 season, the car was raced by Trevor Twaites in the European Championship. It was retired from contemporary at the end of 1971 season and sold to Jeremy Sommer. Among the subsequent owners were the likes of Sir Stirling Moss and Kent Abrahamsson. Acquired by Patrick Quiniou in 1998, it was subsequently campaigned in many historic events around Europe. During the second half of the 2010s, it was sold on to another French collector through Paris-based specialist Historic Cars. It remains as one of the very few B16s with a clear and straightforward history.
