Chassis:
Following its successful record runs at Monza in the fall of 1960, the Monoposto da Record was retained by Pininfarina. It was known affectionally as La Principessa or 'the Princess.' Some years later, it was acquired by the father of the current, Italian custodian. The car has survived all those years in remarkably original condition and finally returned to the limelight in 2017 when it was shown at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este. The next stop for the Fiat Abarth record breaker was the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
