Chassis:
Entered as a Chrysler LMP, this example was driven in the 24 Hours of Le Mans by Olivier Beretta, Pedro Lamy and Karl Wendlinger. After setting the 18th fastest time in the official test, it then qualified an impressive sixth overall for the race. Chassis DO-002 was the only one of the three Chryslers to survive the race and finished a commendable fourth overall. Not raced again in period, it served as a development car for Team Oreca and was fitted for testing purposes with a Judd V10 in early 2002. Finished in the 2002 Team Oreca livery, it was subsequently sold to a Luxembourg based enthusiast. While he has one of the rather troublesome Chrysler V8 engines, it is currently with the easier to run Judd V10 but does boast the 2001 Chrysler livery. Driven regularly, it was raced to victory by owner Florent Moulin in the Classic 24 Hours at Daytona in November of 2017.
