Chassis:
Completed in October of 1986, this Group B Delta S4 was delivered new to Lancia's Squadra Corse shortly thereafter. Not actually raced in period, it was one of the three reconnaissance cars used by the works team ahead of the rallies. In 1988, it was sold to Italian racing team Comauto. It remained in Italy for several more years before it joined the collection of Dutch enthusiast John Bosch, who was a former rally racer himself. In 2008, it was sold to an enthusiast who campaigned the car in historic rally events like the Rally Legend and the Boucles de Spa. Early in 2018, it was consigned to the Bonhams Grand Palais sale in Paris.
