Chassis:
Completed early in 1966, this Rent-a-Racer was delivered new to the Hertz facility in San Diego. The first private owner was Fred Johnson and it then passed to Mike Shoen of Vancouver, Washington. He updated the car with GT350 proper features like a tachometer and oil-pressure gauge as well as an apron and wheels also used on the rare 'R' models. The late Carroll Shelby clearly appreciated Shoen's work and acquired the car for his private collection. Over time most modifications were removed again with the exception of the wheels. Since 2008, it has been on display at Shelby Automobiles in Las Vegas, Nevada. In January of 2018, the rare GT350 H was consigned to the Bonhams Scottsdale Auction at no reserve.
