Patrick Racing fielded this STP liveried Eagle 7200 for Graham McRae in the 1973 Indy 500. He qualified 13th and eventually finished 16th overall, earning him the Rookie of the Year title. Wally Dallenbach raced the car for the remainder of the season, winning the Milwaukee Mile 200, Ontario 100 and the California 500. For the 1974 season, Richard Beith acquired the car and fielded it for Steve Krisiloff and subsequently by helmet/fire safety pioneer Bill Simpson. It was raced through to the 1979 season by among others George Follmer. Following its seven-season career, it was placed in storage by Beith. He finally sold the car in 2005 and it was restored by Walter Goodwin for the then owner between 2008 and 2011. It was subsequently demonstrated at several events before being sold at auction in 2014.
