Chassis:
Swiss privateer racer Angelo Pallavicini acquired this 934 to compete in the Swiss and European championships. He won the Group 4 class during the car's debut at Dijon and also finished first overall at Hockenheim. Pallavicini continued to race the car with considerable success during the 1977 season. For the 1978 season, he stepped up to the World Championship, winning the Group 4 class at Dijon, Silverstone, Misano and Vallelunga on the way to the championship. After racing the 934 for three seasons, Pallavicini sold it to the United States where two subsequent owners would race it in IMSA events through to April of 1986. Following its long contemporary racing career, it remained in North America and subsequent owners included Jim Torres and Monte Shelton. Restored to its original colours, it joined the stable of a noted Porsche collector in 2009. In 2018, it was consigned to the Gooding & Co. Amelia Island Auction.
