Chassis:
Delivered new to JLP Racing in 1980, this Porsche 935 K3 is believed to have never been actually raced in period. It presumably served as a back-up to the team's own 935 JLP-2, which was built in-house to K3 specifications using an earlier shell. The car was subsequently seized in drug-bust and stored for many years in a heated police garage. It was eventually freed from police custody and rebuilt to full running order. By the 2000s, it was in Swiss and later German hands. Finished in the striking JLP Racing colours, it has been raced at the Le Mans Classic several times.
