Chassis:
Built by David Price Racing in 1980, this example was famously raced by René Metge in the French Touring Car Championship in 1981 and 1982. Metge was particularly successful during his second season with the car, winning the championship in 1982. The car was then sold to Portugal where it was also very successful, adding another two championship titles to its tally. Chassis 1 remained in Portugal until it was tracked down by Rover SD1 and Vitesse specialist Ken Clarke in 2015. He brought the car back to the United Kingdom and restored it to its French Touring Car Championship winning configuration. Still looked after by Clarke to this day, it is a regular entrant in the Gerry Marshall Trophy during the Goodwood Members' Meetings.
