Chassis:
Initially built as a spare and show car, this is the third car of three built for the Patrick Motorsport team by SRG Competitions. It was eventually pressed into service late in the 1981 season for round 11 of the British Touring Car Championship. Its racing career was brief and the highly original car remained in storage for many years. It was sold at auction in 2012 and was then brought back to full running order by JD Classics. It has since been raced in the Gerry Marshall Trophy during several editions of the Goodwood Members' Meeting and also in the Peter Auto Heritage Touring Cup series.
