The second TG 184 built, this is the car used by Ayrton Senna in his breakthrough run at the 1984 Monaco Grand Prix. He famously finished second while chasing down leader Alain Prost in the red-flagged, rain-shortened race. Later that year, Senna also raced this car in Canada, in both United States Grands Prix and in thee British round. The best result was a third place finish at Brands Hatch in what was the car's final contemporary outing with Senna at the wheel. His team-mate Stefan Johansson also raced this car, in Germany, Austria, The Netherlands, Italy, Portugal and at the European Grand Prix. The talented Swede placed fourth at Monza and sixth at Estoril. Over three decades after the historic run, the beautifully restored car was consigned to the 2018 Monaco Sale that also includes the McLaren MP4/8 used by Senna to score his final Monaco win, in 1993.
