Chassis:
Allocated to Clay Regazzoni for the 1974 season, this was the first brand new 312 B3 built to '74' specifications. The Swiss racer debuted the car with a fifth place in the Race of Champions at Brands Hatch. He was very consistent during the remainder of the season, retiring only once with 014 and when he did finish, he was never outside the top five. A victory, however, eluded Regazzoni as the best results were a pair of second place finishes. It was sold by the factory in 1975 to the United States and changed hands several times during the next decades. Among the owners was infamous British collector Lord Charles Brocket, who demonstrated and raced the car several times in the early 1990s. Following a long time spell in the collection of French collector and racer Jean Guikas, it was repatriated to Italy by its most recent owner.
