Chassis:
Built to competizione specifications, this Tipo 33 Stradale was completed in July of 1968. Not Stradale was identical and this car features small strips on the nose to help reduce lift at high speeds. It was sold to an Alfa Romeo distributor in Rome. In April of 1972, it was acquired by its first private owner. He would go on to own the car for just over a year. The next custodian was another Alfa Romeo dealership, who placed the car in their showroom. It served as the dealership's star attraction for over two decades. In 1995, it was finally sold on, to German enthusiast Gerd Schwing. He proved to be another longterm owner and retained it until November of 2011 when it passed to a prominent Swiss collector through specialist Egon Zweimüller. The car's handful of owners have beautifully preserved the car. Still in highly original condition, it was shown at the 2018 Concorso d'Eleganza VIlla d'Este, where it very deservedly won the prestigious Coppa d'Oro Villa d'Este best of show award..
