Chassis:
Chassis 3 was the last BT24 produced and was not raced until May of 1968, when it was driven by Jochen Rindt to two retirements at Jarama and Monaco. It was later also raced by Dan Gurney and Kurt Ahrens with little success. BT24-3 was then converted to Tasman specification with a 2.5 litre Ford Cosworth DFW engine. In the hands of Piers Courage, it won one Tasman round and also placed second and third once. Rebuilt to F1 specification with a Cosworth DFV V8, the car was sold to Swiss racer Silvio Moser, who campaigned the car throughout the 1969 season. It has since remained in Switzerland and is currently under restoration. Another car surfaced using the BT24-3 chassis number but this has been ruled in replica in court, but nevertheless still bears the BT24-3 chassis tag.
