Chassis:
Through Heini Mader, this T390 was sold new to Swiss racer Rüdi Jauslin. Using a Ford BDG engine, Jauslin raced the car extensively from the summer of 1975 with a third overall at Hockenheim as the best result that year. He continued to race the car through to the end of 1976 in the Intereserie Championship. It was then campaigned by German Dieter Schulz, who won a minor race at Most in 1978. Shortly thereafter, it was acquired by Peter Kaus for his legendary Rosso Bianco Musuem. It was displayed here for many years alongside the ex-Alain de Cadenet Lola T380. After Kaus sold his entire collection, chassis HU3 was offered at the 2006 Bonhams London Olympia sale without an engine. It was subsequently completely restored to full running order by Phil Stott Racing. Its current owner has regularly raced the car in historic events.
