Chassis:
The first ever Lola, this Mk1 was fitted with an aluminium body whereas the later production cars featured fibreglass bodies. It was raced in period with considerable success by Lola founder Eric Broadley himself and later also by Peter Gammon. Fortunately, the original Lola was preserved and during the mid-2000s, it was lovingly restored by specialists Hall & Hall. The delicate, Mo Gomm designed body was left unpainted to show it was sculpted from aluminium. Under the current ownership, it has been extensively and quite successfully campaigned in historic events all over Europe.
