Chassis:
Although numerically the sixth of the seven 500 LMs built, chassis LM006 was actually among the three cars ready in time for the 1993 Le Mans test. It was tried there by a rather large number of drivers, presumably to give Venturi's other customers a chance to sample the car before their allocated example was ready. Entered by BBA Competition and driven by an all-French line-up, it was then the fifth of the five Venturi finishers in the race. For the 1994 Le Mans, it was painted in an art car livery. Unfortunately it failed to finish the race and was not campaigned since to preserve the unique livery.
