Chassis:
Completed in the fall of 1971, this is the only Miura SV finished in the striking Bleu Medio and one of the first eleven still fitted with a single-sump for the engine and gearbox oil. It was delivered new to the United States and in 1977 it was in the ownership of a Texas based enthusiast. After two years it was sold on, and remained in the United States until 1992. For the subsequent 20 years, it was in Japanese ownership. Upon its return to the United States, it was re-painted to its original colour by Body Stroud and received a mechanical restoration from the owner's own shop. The Miura SV was then shown at the 2016 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance and several other shows on the West Coast but always for display only. Late in 2018, it was consigned to the inaugural RM Sotheby's Petersen Automotive Museum Auction.
