Chassis:
Built ahead of the 2003 season, this 911 GT3 RS was delivered new to Freisinger Motorsport for that year's FIA GT Championship. It was raced for most of the campaign by Stéphane Ortelli and Marc Lieb. Together, they scored class wins at Brno and Doinington. For the blue ribband Spa 24 Hours, the two Porsche works drivers were joined by Romain Dumas. In torrential conditions they scored an upset outright victory, beating all of the faster GT-class car. Sold to an Austrian team, it was raced several teams during the 2005 FIA GT Championship with little luck. Following its contemporary racing career, it was restored to its Spa 24 Hours winning configuration. Now in French ownership, it has been regularly demonstrated in the Global Endurance Legends series.
