Chassis:
Built to 135 MS specification, this car left the Delahaye factory in June of 1949. It was then dispatched to Aigle in Switzerland where it received this striking Coupe body work built by Ghia's Swiss subsidiary. Once completed, it was then shown at the 1950 Geneva Motor Show. Following its show duties, it was sold to its first private owner in June of 1950. It remained in Swiss ownership for several decades before ending up in French hands at around 1990. It was then comprehensively restored and has since had two owners. The most recent custodian acquired it in 2013 and eventually consigned the unique Ghia-Aigle Coupe to the 2019 Bonhams Grand Palais sale.
